INOKED

Built so almost nothing about you leaves your phone.

People use Invoked on the worst day of their year. This is how it keeps what they record theirs, and what it does and doesn’t send.

Encrypted on your phone

Recordings are encrypted by iOS and stay on your device. They’re kept out of iCloud backups, so they’re not mixed in with your photos.

Nothing uploaded without you

Features that use the cloud, like Sentinel and cloud transcription, ask first, and you can turn them off. Transcripts are made on your phone.

Backups only you can open

Backups are locked on your phone with a 25-character code only you have. The server stores the locked copy under a fingerprint and can’t read it.

Face ID, if you want it

Require Face ID to open recordings, in case someone else has your unlocked phone.

No ads, no tracking

We don’t sell your data or let anyone track you. Anonymous usage counts are optional and never include your name, recordings, what you type or your exact location.

Delete it all

Delete recordings, or your whole account and its backups, from the app whenever you like.

On the website too

Signing in without handing over your key.

When you sign in at invokedapp.com, your phone locks your backup code so that only your browser can open it, then sends it through our server. The server holds the locked box for a few minutes and can’t open it. Both screens show the same four digits so you can see nothing was swapped in between.

  • A six-digit code, good for 10 minutes and one phone
  • Your file opens in your browser, not on our servers
  • Sign out and the browser forgets it

Straight answers

The questions we’d ask. Read the full privacy policy for the details.

Can Invoked employees listen to my recordings?

No. Recordings are encrypted on your phone and not uploaded unless you choose to back them up or share them. Backups are locked with a code only you have, so Invoked can’t read them.

What happens if I lose my phone?

If you turned on backup and saved your code, you can restore on a new phone. If you didn’t, the recordings were only on the lost phone. That’s the trade-off of keeping them private.

Do you sell or share my data?

No. There are no ads and no tracking, and we don’t sell your data.

Can I delete everything?

Yes. You can delete recordings, and your whole account, from the app.

What does Invoked’s server see?

An encrypted backup it can’t open, filed under a fingerprint instead of your name, plus the minimum needed to run a feature you asked for, such as the transcript text for a Sentinel reading you allowed.

The app we hope you never need.

It takes two minutes to set up, and it’s there the moment you do.
