Finally, technology
on your side.

The app we hope you never need, but is here for you when you do.

You can record a police stop, request the bodycam video, contest a ticket or a tow, document a car accident, get an instant attorney quote, and learn how to clear your record.

Finally, protection for you and your family.

SAVED

You did it. It’s saved.

Your recording is sealed on this phone with a fingerprint that proves it hasn’t been changed. Nothing has been sent anywhere.

About five minutes. We ask what happened while it’s fresh, then show you exactly what to do.

Sealed with a fingerprint an attorney can check.

The Invoked engine is on it

About a minute for a half-hour recording.

✓ Securing your recording
✓ Transcribing every word and telling the voices apart
✓ Checking every moment against the rules
✓ Building your report

Which voice is you?

Play each voice, then tap yours so the report knows who said what.

Each sample is the clearest few seconds that voice spoke. No voiceprint is stored — this matching happens inside this one recording.

This is a sample transcript, so your device's built-in voice reads each line. With a real recording, samples play straight from your audio.

Voices were separated on this phone. No voiceprint is created or stored — the comparison happens inside this one recording and is thrown away.

Possible issues

The Invoked engine checked every moment of this recording against the rules. What it flagged is for your attorney to review; none of it is a finding that anything unlawful happened.

Transcript

Confidence shown per line. A line under 60% is marked, and any flag that rests on it says so and points you to the audio.

Only you can answer these

A recording can't decide any of these, and each one can matter. Write your answers down while it's fresh and give them to your attorney.

Ask for these in discovery

Not legal advice. This organizes a recording and flags moments matching attorney-reviewed categories. Speaker labels are machine-generated and may be wrong — verify against the audio before relying on any line.

Send to your attorney

Sent

This recording is now kept — it won't delete itself.

Until you've talked with your lawyer, don't discuss the stop with anyone, including on social media. Anything said outside the attorney relationship isn't protected.

The whole point is not needing the app in the moment. Run this until the three lines come out without thinking.

Say each one out loud. Tap when you've said it.

Also worth rehearsing

Hands on the wheel at ten and two. Interior light on at night. Say what you're reaching for before you reach for it. Tell the officer you're recording — it's lawful and it's better said than discovered.

Invoked

Which state?

Invoked normally picks this from where you are. Choosing one here turns automatic detection off.

Start without opening the app

When lights appear behind you, the fastest start is one press. Set up at least one of these now.

Action ButtoniPhone 15 Pro and newer

Settings › Action Button › swipe to Controls › choose Invoked — Go Live. One press starts recording, even when the phone is locked.

Lock Screen or Control CenteriOS 18 and newer

Long-press the Lock Screen › Customize › Lock Screen › tap a control at the bottom › choose Invoked — Go Live. You can add the same control to Control Center. It records without unlocking your phone.

Apple WatchwatchOS 26 and newer

On your watch, open Control Center (press the side button) › Edit › add Invoked — Go Live. One tap records on your iPhone, even locked in your pocket, and the timer shows on your wrist. On Apple Watch Ultra you can put it on the Action button too. With Invoked on your watch, its own Go Live records on the watch and sends it to your iPhone.

Siri

Say "Hey Siri, Invoked go live." Nothing to set up — it works once the app is installed.

Back TapAny iPhone 8 or newer

Settings › Accessibility › Touch › Back Tap › Triple Tap › choose the Go Live shortcut. Triple-tap the back of the phone to start.

While recording, a timer shows on your Lock Screen, in the Dynamic Island and on Apple Watch. There's no stop button there on purpose — stopping takes the hold in the app, so it can't be ended by accident or by someone else.

Right after the stop

Memory fades fast and evidence gets deleted. Everything here saves as you type.

Write down what happened

Tap the microphone on your keyboard to dictate. Include what was said before recording started.

The officer

From the citation, their uniform, or the car. Get what you can.

Photograph the citation or warning

Invoked can read the court date off it and remind you.

Injuries or damage

Photograph anything visible now. Bruising often shows more clearly after a day or two — take more then.

Witnesses

Passengers, bystanders, anyone who stopped. Names and phone numbers.

Where it happened

Street and nearest cross street. Used in your records request.

Request the bodycam footage

Some agencies delete routine footage within weeks. Send this within a few days.

Don't post about it

Posting the recording or your account online can give prosecutors your statements for free and can hurt a case you don't know you have yet. Talk to a lawyer first.

Request the footage

A public records request for the bodycam and dashcam, plus a request to preserve them from deletion. Filled in from your checklist — edit anything.

Send it soon. Many agencies delete routine video on a schedule, sometimes within weeks.

Search for the agency's name plus "public records request." Many use an online form instead — paste the letter into it.

A citizen's preservation request isn't a court order, but it creates a record that the agency was asked, which your attorney can use.

Court date

Missing court can turn a ticket into a warrant. Photograph the ticket and Invoked will find the date and remind you three times.

Confirm the details

Always double-check the date against the ticket. Reading a photo isn't perfect.

You and your attorney

Kept with your case.

YOU

Used to sign records requests.

Your attorney

Recordings go to them in one tap.

Communication cards

Full-screen, high-contrast cards to hold up to the window. Turn on the ones that apply to you — they’re one tap away on the recording screen (Show a card) and in the menu.

Before we send anything

You don't need this. Invoked already transcribes and separates voices on your phone. This only helps when the audio is rough — traffic, wind, an officer far from the mic — and a bigger model might catch words the phone missed. Here's exactly what happens if you use it.

Where it goes

Straight from your phone to Deepgram, our transcription provider, over an encrypted connection. Invoked's own servers never receive it.

What comes back

A transcript with timestamps and speaker labels, saved on your phone with the recording. It replaces the on-phone transcript.

What's sent

Only the audio. No name, no account, no location. We ask Deepgram not to use it to train their models.

Anything held by a third party can in principle be requested by a court. The on-phone option has no such exposure — prefer it unless the transcript came back unusable.

Version —

Invoked is not a law firm

It records, organises and flags. It does not give legal advice and cannot tell you whether anything was lawful. Only a lawyer reviewing the whole record can do that.

Your recordings stay on this phone

Encrypted and excluded from iCloud backups. A recording leaves this phone only when you choose: when you share it, back it up (encrypted, so we can’t play it) or ask for cloud transcription. We can’t read or hand over what we never have.

What police can do

This describes what the law allows an officer to do, in general, with the cases it comes from. It is information, not advice about your situation — only a lawyer looking at your facts can tell you what they mean for you.

Federal rules, plus anything specific to your state.

Ways a case can end without a conviction

These exist in most courts. They're usually offered rather than advertised, and decided early — which is why it's worth asking about before anything is agreed.

Whether any of these fit your case is a judgment call, and it belongs to your lawyer. What's below is what these programs generally are, so the conversation starts further along.

Questions worth asking

Evidence

Everything that might exist, who holds it, and how long they keep it. Most of it is deleted on a schedule whether anyone asked or not.

Add

Retention windows are typical figures from published schedules, not guarantees. Agencies differ — treat every one as shorter than it says.

Court

What actually happens in the room, what to bring, and what to ask before you're in it.

Which hearing

Any court day

What you owe

Payments, classes, check-ins and hours. This is where cases quietly go wrong long after they're over.

Add

Keep every receipt and certificate. Courts lose them, and proving you finished is your job.

Documents

Photograph every piece of paper. Invoked reads dates off them and puts them on your timeline.

Stored on this phone with everything else, and never uploaded.

Ask

on this phone
Questions about the app, the process, and what the rules say. Not a lawyer — it won't tell you what to do in your case, and it will say so when you ask.

Contest it

We know exactly how this goes, and you don't have to. Tell us what happened and photograph the citation. We'll write the letter and track the deadline, and you send it.

What happened?

Tell us how it ended and we'll set up the right thing. Whatever it is, there's usually a clock running — that's the part we take over.

If you recorded it, or can still start a recording safely, that's worth more than anything written down afterwards.

Weekly case check-ins

Add your case and we’ll email you every week to check it on your court’s website, so a moved date never catches you off guard.

What this is, honestly.
Courts don’t publish live feeds, and many don’t allow automated lookups, so Invoked doesn’t read the court record. It reminds you to check it every week, and every court date and deadline you add gets reminders before it. Always confirm anything that matters with the court.

    Coming up

Every date we're tracking for you, soonest first. Each one shows the rule it comes from.

Dates are worked out from published rules. Courts and agencies differ — confirm anything you can't afford to get wrong with the court itself.

    Before you start

A complaint is worth making. It should also be made with your eyes open.

If you have charges pending, talk to your lawyer first.
What you write here is a statement about the same incident, and prosecutors can often obtain it. A defense lawyer will frequently tell you to wait until your case is finished. That's not a reason never to complain — it's a reason to ask someone whose job it is to know.
What a complaint does, and doesn't.
It puts the officer's conduct on record with the agency and creates a paper trail. It doesn't get a ticket dropped, it isn't a lawsuit, and it isn't a notice of claim — that's a separate thing with a much shorter deadline. Most complaints don't result in visible discipline. The record still matters, because patterns are built from them.
Only write what you can stand behind.
Knowingly false complaints are a criminal offense in some states. Say what you saw and heard, not what you concluded.
